Vic Falls under threat

VICTORIA FALLS – Zimbabwe’s top tourist attracting faces possible delisting as a world heritage site after being placed on the agenda of the World Heritage Committee.
The director of Zimbabwe National Museums and Monuments Gerald Mahachi said the Unesco-recognised site would be discussed at the committee's meeting to be held early next year in New Zealand.
He said: "The committee says there are some problems that include building activities that could force them to consider delisting it. – Own correspondent
